Happy Snowmen frolic in a Winter Wonderland
 
 
surrounded by a deep border of swirling snowflakes! This 64" x 71" quilt is a single, easy to follow pattern that we will stitch in red to coordinate with fabrics from “Ready, Set, Snow” collection. Pattern also includes general instructions for stitching in full color, a bonus pattern and recipe's!

Winter Wonderland Block of the Month will begin September 15, 2011, and will be an 6-month program for$24.00 per month. Includes the pattern, all fabrics, and binding. There is an initial sign-up fee, (non returnable)of $15.00. There will be a limited number of spaces so sign up now to reserve your spot.

When signing up, you are agreeing to pay $ 24.00 monthly for 6 months.
Kiting and Meeting Dates are scheduled for 5:30 pm on September 15, Oct. 13, Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Jan. 19, 2012 & Feb 16.

A Quilter's Coloring Book

A Quilter's Coloring Book is being completely reworked and revamped to make it more useful to quilters who wish to print and color quilt blocks to experiment with coloring options in their quilts.  Please bear with me as I add the newly formatted pages, one by one for your use.

    CLUBS

    Experience the charm and traditions of the 1930's with the Feed Sack Lady herself, Darlene Zimmerman by participating in Clothesline Club.

    Darlene is a renowned textile historian specializing in the era of the 1930's. She gets her inspiration for quilts and fabrics from the vintage textiles she collects. She designs authentic reproduction fabrics based on her collection of '30s style dress goods and feed sack fabrics.

    "Buttercup" Fabric Collection

    On April 1, 2011 our 1st year of Clothesline Club will begin with Darlene Zimmerman's 30's Reproduction Buttercup Fabric Collection. New projects will include quilts, placemats and a table runner. We will also be learning new techniques, how to use new tools to make the projects, have history lessons, share recipes, and learn about new notions and fabrics arriving daily at Blue Bee. We always welcome show and tell (it doesn't have to be a 30's project) - don't forget to bring it to club!!

    Each month a newsletter from Darlene will be handed out and those attending will receive a coupon for 15% off all Darlene Zimmerman fabrics, kits, patterns, books and notions purchased on club day. Membership is free of charge and you are welcome to join us anytime. Our club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – you pick the time most convenient in your schedule.

    in the Clothesline club online with the Feed Sack Lady herself, Darlene Zimmerman.

    Everything you need to participate in the club is at your fingertips from notions
    to kits for each project. Kits will be available the first wednesday of each month.

    Online club members will enjoy the freedom of only participating in the projects they desire.
    There is no sign up commitment and no membership fee. The monthly kit will be available
    for purchase online the day after each in-store meeting. Each kit includes the pattern, and
    fabric needed for the project. It also includes the monthly club newsletter. Any notions
    needed for the project will need to be purchased separately.
