Barbara Brackman and Moda present a collection of Arts & Crafts fabrics. A Morris Tapestry reproduces the grace- ful patterns of William Morris and John Henry Dearle. Their Morris & Company created the design revolution known as the Arts & Crafts style. Morris and Dearle's printed fabrics were often in- spired by woven tapestry design, a hand- craft surviving from centuries before the advent of factory-made cloth. The "Strawberry Thief"was first designed as a tapestry. Art Nouveau style influenced later Morris & Company patterns. Prints such as Daffodil and Bachelor's Button exaggerated nature's sinuous forms. Printed on premium 100% cotton.
